EXCITING NEWS!
FOSAA SUMMER MUSIC AND ART CAMP IS BACK!!! Camp will be held June 19th – June 23rd, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Amphitheatre. Students will have the opportunity to choose an instrument and art or puppetry. Click on the links above for the 2023 Camp Handbook and Application. Please read all material completely through and follow instructions in the Handbook and Application to complete the required forms. This will format best if done on a computer. Note: This is an extremely popular camp and it will fill up quickly. Please read all instructions very carefully and bring all material to the Amphitheatre Front Porch on Wednesday, March 1st, between 2PM and 6PM. This is the only registration day. Applications will not be accepted by mail or electronically – only in person. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Thanks to Friend and Corporate Sponsor memberships, donations and fundraising events, FOSAA has been able to:
- Sponsored Children’s Music and Art Summer Camps and Camp Rock with scholarships to families in need
- Sponsored free Children’s Interactive Arts Festivals
- Awarded grants to Murray Middle School for musical presentations at the Amphitheatre for St. Johns Public School children.
- Awarded grants to several elementary schools, the FSDB and First Coast Technical High School as well as Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to attend special events at the Amphitheatre.
- Sponsored a free community performance of the National Touring Navy Band and Air Force Band
- Sponsored free community events for December to Remember
- Sponsored a “Celebrating Our Seniors” concert event
- Provided tickets to foster families, Title 1 schools, Homeless Coalition, & St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) to the Venardos Circus
- Provided yearly grants to Epic Community Services for “A Taste of St. Augustine.”
- Sponsored holiday “Paint Outs” for children in area elementary schools
- Awarded grants to Keepers of the Coast for their Back2School Beachfests
- Hosted Play it Forward and used instrument collection at the FOSAA booth
- Brought the Juan Siddi Flamenco Company to the Amphitheatre for free school performances
