Supporting Our Community

The St. Augustine Amphitheater is a valuable resource for Northeast Florida and FOSAA strives to increase its accessibility for local schools, community groups, and non-profit organizations.  Making available a professional performance venue for programs such as Murray Middle School’s Center for the Arts allows students to showcase their artistic gifts outside of a school setting.  The “Sing Out Loud” festival, EPIC’s Taste of St. Augustine and the Lullaby of the Rivers Festival are just a few of the groups that have recently benefitted from FOSAA’s support.

While 3,500 people can be seated in the main stage area, The Amp is also home to The Backyard Stage, an area for which  FOSAA provided financial support for its recent refurbishment and which is perfect for smaller groups and activities. FOSAA itself holds a Summer Music and Arts camp, with scholarships available, providing children in grades 1-6 with a week of exposure to a variety of classes which reinforce the value of art and music education.

We invite your group to explore the opportunities at our unique St. Johns County community venue.  Please contact President Molly Grossholz at mollyschoice@yahoo.com to discuss how FOSAA can assist your organization in experiencing The Amp!
